Lily Cole was recently snapped wearing URTH jewellery at The Fashion Fortune Summit. Always one to follow her instincts, the Vogue cover model famously quit as the face of De Beers in 2005, after learning of the plight of Central Kalahari Game Reserve Bushmen. The indigenous trfibe had been forced off ancestral lands to make way for a diamond mine.
The Fashion Forum Summit is an annual event that gathers politicians, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and celebrity activists to support the work of major. Lily wore URTH's leaf pendant, by Pippa Small, profits from which will go to fund a school in the mining village of Antanimbary.
